• Cybersitter
  Pros:  Ranked 1st in 2007 PC Magazine Review.  Lots of filtering features.  Contains nice tool to review cached pages.  Supports "stealth" operation mode, and allows locking out access to control panel, task manager, and registry editing tools.  Version 10 is now available and support WinXP and Vista.
  Cons: None.  Version 10 addresses all previous shortfalls I had found. 
• iProtectYou
  Pros:  Ranked 2nd in 2007 PC Magazine Review.  Runs in "stealth" mode.  Prevents access to IP address URLs used often by filter avoidance sites.
  Cons: Doesn't block Instant Messaging, FTP, or P2P (download) sites.
• Net Nanny
  Pros:  Ranked 1st in 2007 Internet Filter Review.  Nice logging of instant message text.  New version just released that fully supports Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Vista.
  Cons:  Does not seem to support "stealth" operation mode.
