Specialized Program

Courses related to vocational, work related experiences offer:

¨ The opportunity to earn money while taking part in the school program

¨ Attainment of credits toward a diploma for successful work experiences

¨ Successful work experiences

All Academic core courses are taught in alignment with State Standards and Benchmarks

Saginaw Learn to Earn Academy operates on a four day week, with seven class hours per day Monday -  Thursday

Saginaw Learn to Earn Academy grants diplomas upon completion of 20 credits and a successful work experience.

Saginaw Learn to Earn Academy:

¨ Is a Public School Academy

¨ Was chartered, May 5, 2005

¨ Is located in the Transition Center, Fashion Square Blvd., near McCarty

¨ Recovers students who have left their High School program

¨ Provides a diploma

¨ Provides Job Development

¨ Provides Accommodations for Special Needs

¨ Participates in MME Testing

¨ Provides the link to community employers

¨ Provides Highly Qualified Teachers
