The Transitions Center houses the Professional Development Center, which provides opportunities to learn new teaching methods and practices as well as professional development for:

• Teachers
• Administrators
• Support Staff 
• Local Community Agencies

The SISD's Professional Development Center is available at no cost to educators.  Other groups wanting to use the facility may incur a small fee.  View Rules and Regulations for details. The facility includes:

• 12,000 square-foot banquet room
• Six meeting rooms to accommodate groups of 10-275. View Layout  
• Full state-of-the-art audiovisual capabilities, sound system and interactive capabilities via the Saginet Telecommunications Network.
• Full conference amenities including a food service program led by an Executive Chef and assisted by students learning real life skills.
