Hello, my name is Mrs. Toni,

I am the School Social Worker at the Saginaw County Juvenile Detention Center, I am very excited to work with the youth and staff at the Center. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan in 2007.  I am also certified to run “Girls Circle” programs, am a Certified Advance Alcohol & Drug Counselor which I received from the state of Michigan, and am certified to work with Juvenile Sexual Offenders.  Previously, I have worked as a substance abuse counselor at Wolverine Human Services, as a Clinical Supervisor also at WHS, and a School Social Worker at Millington Community Schools.

My goal is to assist youth in learning to make appropriate and productive decisions while a part of the detention program, and after returning to their local schools. To provide coping skills needed to minimize behavioral issues at the center and when youth return to the community. My door is always open to all students in the Saginaw County Juvenile Detention Center.
