Whole Child is a collaborative approach to learning and health. It focuses on students' needs to ensure every individual is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged. For schools, this means teaching and practicing healthy lifestyles, developing physically and emotionally safe environments, academically challenging students, and personalizing learning. This model, developed by ASCD and CDC, aims to better align the policies, processes, and practices of education, public health, and school health.
