Great Lakes Bay Early College (GLBEC) invites all interested Fall 2023 Sophomores and Juniors of Bay Arenac, Midland, and Saginaw surrounding counties to enroll. To enroll, at least one parent and student(s) must attend an information session.

Step 1: Register to attend an information session.

Step 2: Complete the enrollment essay by answering the following questions in a thoughtful, grammatically correct, and cogent manner. The essay must be 1.5 pages long in size 12-point font with 1-inch margins. Include your name and mailing address at the end of the essay. Email essay to Karen Huff at khuff@sisd.cc.

Step 3: New Student Online Enrollment

Please make note of the following:

• Students must be entering their sophomore or junior year at the start of the 2023-2024 school year.

• Request and submit high school transcripts with the enrollment packet.

• Based upon application materials, an interview with the Director may be requested prior to acceptance.

• Upon acceptance, an official “Acceptance Letter” with a signature request sheet is due back to claim a spot in the program.
