Saginaw ISD is thrilled to introduce Anthony (Tony) Moryl as the new Facilities Program Director. Serving under the Executive Director of Technology, this pivotal role encompasses coordinating, supervising, and directing the operation and maintenance of all district facilities and grounds.

Dr. Jeffrey Collier, Superintendent of Saginaw ISD, expressed his confidence in Mr. Moryl, stating, "I am pleased to welcome Mr. Moryl to our team. I believe that his experience and attention to detail focus will provide excellent facility management across all of our campuses. As we continue to advance ambitious capital projects throughout Saginaw ISD, I am confident that with his partnered guidance, our vision will manifest into sustainably safe, clean, and upgraded facilitates for our students, staff, and community."

In his capacity as the Facilities Program Director, Mr. Moryl will also supervise a dedicated team of support staff, which includes maintenance, grounds, custodial, and courier personnel. Executive Director of Technical Services, Mark Quaderer, remarked, "Anthony's leadership and experience make him the ideal choice to steer our dedicated custodial and maintenance teams. We are thrilled to have him on board to ensure our facilities reflect the excellence our community deserves."

The Saginaw ISD's Board of Education approved Mr. Moryl's hiring on August 15, with his tenure beginning on August 21. Reflecting on his new role, Mr. Moryl shared, "It is an honor to serve as the Director of Facilities for Saginaw ISD. I am committed to upholding our core values and providing our students, families, and faculty with a safe and comfortable learning environment. Joining such a dedicated and passionate team, I believe we can accomplish anything!"

ABOUT ANTHONY MORYL

Anthony (Tony) Moryl serves as the Facilities Program Director for Saginaw Intermediate School District (ISD). Tony is a skilled Facilities and Property Management professional with over 15 years of experience overseeing corporate and residential portfolios. He is dedicated to upholding our core values while ensuring our physical environment supports our organization's critical needs and functions.

Tony is an accomplished United States Coast Guard veteran with over 15 years of Leadership experience and holds numerous professional certifications in Facilities Management, Project Management, Environmental risks analysis, Occupational safety, Atmospheric testing, Firefighting, and Incident Command.

Additionally, Tony Honorably retired from service in 2021 and most recently joined Saginaw ISD from Newmark, where he served as the Operations Manager supporting the Research and Development Corporate Facilities campus inside Michigan Industrial Operations (MIOPS) for Dow Chemical.

ABOUT SAGINAW INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT

Saginaw Intermediate School District (ISD) is an educational service agency that provides effective and innovative leadership, services, resources, and programs throughout Saginaw County. Saginaw ISD provides career and technical education, early childhood, finance, human resources, instruction, pupil accounting, special education, technology, and transportation services. In addition, Saginaw ISD operates multiple educational programs to meet the unique needs of students ages birth to 26 across Saginaw County, including: Hartley Outdoor Education Center, Head Start/Early Head Start and Great Start to Readiness Programs, Great Lakes Bay Early College, Saginaw County Juvenile Detention Center School, and Special Education Center Programs.
