Saginaw Intermediate School District had the honor of hosting the "Years of Service" employee recognition to our Transportation Department on August 11, 2022. The honored employees have demonstrated dedication and commitment to the Saginaw ISD performance standards to serve, innovate, and empower. Staff members are recognized for every five years of service they have completed and an additional group was recognized to make up for COVID-19 cancellations.
A total of 18 transportation employees were honored for their dedication to Saginaw ISD with a combined 135 years of service. It was noted that in the majority of cases, our transportation staff is both the first and last smiles many of our students see for their day. Our transportation staff continues to make a difference in children's lives and their educational journeys. Saginaw ISD is incredibly privileged to have such passionate employees on our team.
