celebrating leadership

Saginaw ISD would like to celebrate Dr. Ericka Taylor, executive director of Early Childhood, for her recent documentary interview on the COVID-19 pandemic and how it affected students, staff, and families here in Saginaw. Dr. Taylor was invited to share her experience by the multi-award-winning owner and editor of SWAG Magazine, Julian Morris. "I was truly blessed and honored to be invited to share my personal insight, challenges, and information in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic and my roles as wife, mother, and educator," said Dr. Taylor.

The popular magazine focuses on teens and young adults in the entertainment world and trends, as well as health and wellness, financial literacy, money management tips, and college tips. SWAG stands for "Students with a Gift." Saginaw ISD will share more information as the documentary is released.
