The Early Head Start Home Visiting program offers weekly socializations for children and parents. These moments give children the chance to explore new skills through play while parents engage with one another and our caring staff. Together, we’re helping families build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. #SaginawISD #EHS #EarlyHeadStart #OurStory

To encourage independence and confidence, we are teaching our Murphy Preschool students to put on their own coats using the simple and fun technique called the "flip trick." The flip trick is an easy way for children who are still developing their coordination and fine motor skills to put on their coats without help. The smile at the end shows how proud they are of themselves! 😁

Success, leadership, and civic engagement are at the heart of everything we do at Jerome. Principal Nichols is incredibly proud to see young learners take ownership of their environment, whether it’s maintaining our vibrant green wall, nurturing plants in the greenhouse, or helping keep our campus a welcoming space for all.

Through these hands-on experiences, students build responsibility, teamwork, and a lifelong love for sustainability and community stewardship. At Jerome, every child is growing into a leader who understands the importance of caring for both people and the planet.

Early Head Start Lead Teacher, Kelly Bull, would like to give an Orange Spot Nomination to two of her amazing colleagues and friends, Shayna Damen and Melissa Maslowski.

Kelly shares, “As I navigated a personal loss, these two caring souls offered words of comfort and compassion, along with support throughout the workday so I could continue doing my job, even while grieving.
