In Ms. Rabadue’s classroom at Jerome Preschool, students explored science through hands-on learning as they worked in small groups to discover which items would sink or float. Through curiosity, teamwork, and experimentation, students built problem-solving skills while having fun learning together.

What began as a quick classroom walk through turned into an authentic learning moment when the class invited Principal Nichols to join them for breakfast. The conversation that followed showcased strong inquiry based thinking, student voice, and real world connections to our science curriculum.
Ms. Hewitt and her students have built a nurturing and academically rich environment where collaboration, curiosity, and critical thinking are part of the everyday learning experience. Their classroom is a shining example of student centered instruction in action across our campus.
Thank you to Ms. Hewitt and her amazing learners for modeling what powerful early learning looks like at Jerome's STEM Campus.

Huge thank you to the Saginaw Career Complex health students for stopping by to teach our SCC Head Start kiddos a mini lesson on the power of handwashing! 🧼🖐️

Check out our Murphy Farm Preschool students using their little hands to make BIG snips! The activities help our students develop skills in the woods. 🍂

This experience gave students the chance to plan what they wanted to grow while making meaningful connections to nutrition awareness and healthy living. Over the next few weeks, students will eagerly observe the germination process, track plant growth, and prepare for the moment when their tomatoes are ready to be transplanted.
Opportunities like this help students deepen their understanding of science, apply inquiry skills, and engage in authentic, project-based learning that supports curiosity and innovation.
