School Social Worker Jessika Doyle has nominated Visually Impaired Assistant Amber Sweatland for an Orange Spot Recognition!
Jessika shared, “Amber has been a tremendous asset in our STEP Program at Merrill. She originally supported a student in a different role, but when that student was out for a period of time, she stepped in to help in our STEP room. Although she shared that it was outside of her comfort zone, she still showed up and supported our staff and students. I hope she knows her support means more than she realizes.”

Our Executive Director of Human Resources (HR), Andrea Wise, would like to nominate HR Director Jenn Grigg for an Orange Spot in recognition of her exceptional work implementing the BambooHR applicant tracking system for the district. Jenn led this project to align with district needs while enhancing the experience for applicants, hiring managers, and HR staff. As a result of Jenn’s efforts, the district now benefits from a more efficient, organized, and compliant recruitment process. The new system has improved communication, streamlined workflows, and positioned the district to better support future hiring needs.
