A huge #orange shout-out to Kris Walko and Wendy Malkiewicz for providing amazing support to licensed home-based childcare teachers and caregivers. Monthly, these two Quality Improvement Coaches and the Great Start to Quality Eastern Resource Center team facilitate a professional learning community and then continue that support through coaching opportunities. In addition, they put on a fantastic conference last week in which home-based educators from across the state joined in for an evening of learning and networking. The Great Start to Quality Eastern Resource Center team was busy Thursday night hosting our 5th annual Home-Based Mini-Conference that supports teachers and caregivers who care for children in their homes.
Early Childhood teachers from across the state were able to learn more about Family-Teacher Relationships, Nutrition, and Advocacy.
