Meet today's Spotlight Grad, Courtney. The light her smile shines can brighten any dark room and cheer up anyone's day. Courtney's infectious giggle can be heard throughout the halls. Courtney's favorite experience in the SOAR Program has been the worksites, with Jet's Pizza being her favorite. After graduation, Courtney will continue working at her family's business and going out to dinner, her favorite topic of discussion! #SaginawISD #SOARGrad2023

The amazing Phil Eich took time out of his day today to talk to the Saginaw Career Complex’s Entrepreneurship and Graphic Design students. The SCC Entrepreneurship Academy often meets in the SVSU space in downtown Saginaw, where Phil engaged students in a rich dialogue. Here are a few takeaways: - Every single person you will ever meet has the potential to change your life—and you have the opportunity to change theirs. - The quality of your interaction with others often determines the quality of your life. - Our attention is one of the greatest gifts we can give someone. - The most significant challenges will be hard, but they can also hold the key to doing powerful, transformative, unique, and necessary work. - Pursuing a purpose is more important than pursuing a passion.

If Spark the Orange Frog were a person, his name would be Gavin. Today's Spotlight Grad exudes everything Happiness Advantage. Gavin is full of positivity and joy and shares those gifts with everyone he meets. Not only is Gavin graduating, but he is also moving out of state to start a new journey with his family. Gavin will take the lessons he learned about the Happiness Advantage and share them with his new friends and community. #SaginawISD #SOARGrad2023 #HappinessAdvantage

Check out Hartley's live cams. The geese are back with their goslings in tow. The same geese spend every year with us until it is time for them to head south. Come back often to watch the little ones grow! https://hartley.sisd.cc/o/hoec/page/live-cameras #HartleyOEC #SISD

Hartley had a very busy day! Students from Owosso departed, a new group of residential students arrived as well as we welcomed North for a day trip. It's a good thing we have a big parking lot to hold all 7 of these buses. #HartleyOEC #SISD
