The amazing Phil Eich took time out of his day today to talk to the Saginaw Career Complex’s Entrepreneurship and Graphic Design students. The SCC Entrepreneurship Academy often meets in the SVSU space in downtown Saginaw, where Phil engaged students in a rich dialogue. Here are a few takeaways:
- Every single person you will ever meet has the potential to change your life—and you have the opportunity to change theirs.
- The quality of your interaction with others often determines the quality of your life.
- Our attention is one of the greatest gifts we can give someone.
- The most significant challenges will be hard, but they can also hold the key to doing powerful, transformative, unique, and necessary work.
- Pursuing a purpose is more important than pursuing a passion.

Gavin is full of positivity and joy and shares those gifts with everyone he meets. Not only is Gavin graduating, but he is also moving out of state to start a new journey with his family. Gavin will take the lessons he learned about the Happiness Advantage and share them with his new friends and community. #SaginawISD #SOARGrad2023 #HappinessAdvantage
