The students in Mrs. Jacques’ class made a delicious pudding using a switch-adapted mixer. A tasty way to work on daily living skills and build independence.

Last Friday, the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) team hosted their annual DHH Social. Students from across the county came together to connect, catch up, and enjoy spending time with one another. This is one of the most anticipated events of the year. Our students look forward to it for months, and it never disappoints! #Saginaw ISD #OurStory

Thanks to this contribution, our students will have new opportunities to strengthen gross motor development while also engaging in hands-on experiences in our greenhouse.
We are grateful for community partners like Manager Ted and Cashier Leon who helped support meaningful, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for our youngest learners.

It’s beginning to look a lot like spring! 🌱🌷
Our SOAR worksite students and staff have been hard at work all school year preparing, planting, and maintaining flowers and plants for the Transitions Center’s annual plant sale later this spring.
When they’re not in the greenhouse, students are building valuable skills at Abele’s Greenhouse. This week alone, they assembled more than 1,700 flats, which were placed on pallets for our local worksite partner—an incredible accomplishment!
Great work, everyone! 👏
