It was a bright and engaging start to the day at Jerome STEM Campus. Students across classrooms began their morning with positive sign-in routines before diving into a full day of collaborative learning, critical thinking, and hands-on exploration. Their smiles say it all as they get ready to grow, achieve, and innovate.

Students at Jerome had an incredible week connecting with Community Health Advocates from the Saginaw County Health Department! During a hands-on, interactive lesson on handwashing, our learners explored real-world health practices while developing essential life skills. This experience not only reinforced the importance of personal wellness but also highlighted the value of connecting with professionals across multiple disciplines. At Jerome, we’re proud to provide dynamic learning opportunities that promote a healthy, safe, and thriving school environment!

The School-to-Work team recently welcomed Tyrese West from the LiUNA Laborers’ Training Center as a guest speaker for Saginaw United seniors. Mr. West provided students with valuable insight into post-secondary trade opportunities and the benefits of pursuing skilled labor pathways as an alternative to traditional college options.

This visit supports the team’s new Senior Gateway Initiative, which aims to help students explore both college and regional trade programs. Through this initiative, students gain practical knowledge, career awareness, and a clearer understanding of the opportunities available after graduation.
