What an awesome week here at Hartley Outdoor Education Center! Started the week out with a Kolb 3rd grade day trip, to welcoming MacGregor and St. Charles for their residential stays and ending with Westdale kindergartners for a day trip! That’s over 270 students enjoying the Hartley Experience! Check out some photos from the Westdale visit.
Cohort 2 of the Saginaw County Youth Ambassador program wrapped up their Dale Carnegie training yesterday! We are so thankful to Wendy Groll and Dan Handley for being excellent partners and partnering with us on this important program! We look forward to celebrating student success next week!

Preparations are under way for Millet’s Completion Ceremony, which will be held next Friday, June 3rd. This year we will honor four students who are completing their journey at Millet!
Cohort 1 of our Saginaw County Youth Ambassador program had the opportunity to visit Hartley Outdoor Education Center today and experience some of the amazing activities that are offered! This truly is a Saginaw ISD gem! Thank you Eric Rutherford for hosting today!

This week students from Heritage High School that participate in the Pre-ETS program took a field trip to SCC to tour the numerous CTE programs that are offered to students across Saginaw County. The SCC field trip is one of many services students can access while participating in Pre-ETS.

Congratulations to GLBEC student-athletes Evan Vasicek (Freeland), Brenasiaha Greene (Bridgeport), and Jacob Wurtzel (Freeland) for qualifying to compete in the State's track and field Championship on June 4th. Evan will compete in the 100 and 200-meter dashes, Brenasiaha in the 100-meter dash and 800-meter relay, and Jacob in the 3200-meter relay. #SaginawISD #GLBEC #Early College #FCSD #GoBearCats
