Congratulations to Maddie Loshaw for being selected to receive the following awards for her outstanding achievement at Delta College: William R. Collings Award of excellence, Fraternal Order of Police, Bay City Lodge 103 Award, and the Board of Trustees award. Maddie’s name will appear on the permanent showcase award plaque at Delta College with all the others who have won this award. A big shout out to United Way of Saginaw for their generosity! Because of their funds, Millet’s Kind Gardeners have a new portable greenhouse, fertilizer, and lots of soil for our raised garden beds and planters!

The Great Start Collaborative was honored to speak at the Covenant HealthCare Medical Management Group General Meeting tonight at Horizons! Three GSC parents shared their families' medical journeys. Their inspiring stories will help to strengthen our partnership with medical providers throughout Saginaw County!





For many of us it may seem like it’s still winter time- especially with today’s snow fall. However, these salamanders know it’s really spring time. The students from Central Elementary School in Owosso were so excited to find a few salamanders while out in the woods during their stay at Hartley Outdoor Education Center this past week.
