Congratulations to Maddie Loshaw for being selected to receive the following awards for her outstanding achievement at Delta College: William R. Collings Award of excellence, Fraternal Order of Police, Bay City Lodge 103 Award, and the Board of Trustees award. Maddie’s name will appear on the permanent showcase award plaque at Delta College with all the others who have won this award. For many of us it may seem like it’s still winter time- especially with today’s snow fall. However, these salamanders know it’s really spring time. The students from Central Elementary School in Owosso were so excited to find a few salamanders while out in the woods during their stay at Hartley Outdoor Education Center this past week.
