The Michigan State Police is aware of the Dec. 17 school shooting copycat threats that are circulating nationwide on TikTok. At this time, we are unaware of any credible threats. If you become aware of a school threat, report it to a trusted adult or confidentially at Ok2Say.com.

Today our Saginaw County Youth Ambassadors were able to give back to the community, as part of their Junior Leadership Saginaw experience! Students had the opportunity to volunteer with the United Way, the Youth Protection Council, the READ Association, and the East Side Soup Kitchen. Special thanks to all of our hosts today! These students are our future leaders!!

Julie Bash stated "I was unable to attend a Great Start Collaborative meeting in Tuscola last week due to other work obligations. Wendy attended, which she often does, but the next morning I received the following message from the Tuscola Great Start Collaborative Director, 'Good Morning, Wendy did a fantastic job representing Great Start to Quality at the GSC meeting yesterday. Thank you for allowing her to join us. She has a lot of information to offer the school readiness advisory committee.' Thank you Wendy for being a supportive partner in our Great Start to Quality work! You are appreciated!"
