Mrs. Hewitt’s and Ms. Curtis’s class got hands-on with science as they planted flowers and learned about the different parts of a flower and how plants grow. Students also created rain clouds while exploring what happens when it rains and how clouds form.

Director of Instruction and Coaching, Kelly Kujala, and Director of Instructional Services, Christine Bolen, had the opportunity to testify before a Michigan House Committee that is working on House Bill 5697. The team shared the story of the hard work that Saginaw ISD and Saginaw County schools have been doing to improve literacy teaching capacity through LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) training. #SaginawISD #OurStory

Adams Preschoolers in Ms. Celeste and Mrs. Tammy’s classroom had a blast playing the game “Mr. Clown, Mr. Clown.” They were also given lots of encouragement from their teachers, who celebrated each student’s “special tricks.” Just look at those happy faces! 😊

SOAR teacher Mr. Palmer and staff recently taught their Cooking on a Budget class how to make a variety of mini quiches. For around $8, students were able to make 24 quiches that were both delicious and easy to prepare!
