Last week, students from Carrollton Middle School visited Hartley Outdoor Education Center and participated in a dynamic STEM experience focused on force, motion, potential energy, and kinetic energy. Throughout the session, students worked collaboratively to design and build roller coasters, applying engineering principles and scientific thinking to test how variables such as height, slope, and friction affected speed and energy transfer. #HartleyOEC #STEM

Last Friday, we proudly celebrated the Class of 2025 at Millet Learning Center with a heartfelt Completion and Transition Ceremony, surrounded by friends, families, and staff who have worked alongside these students for years, some for multiple decades.
Our completion students: Jennifer Banning, Tomas Cruz Jr., Collin Rodammer, James Scott, and Taylor Strain, have reached a meaningful milestone as they complete their time at Millet. We also took time to honor the memory of Blake Miller, a beloved student whose spirit continues to shine in our community.
We also celebrate our transitioning students: Shamarria Franklin, MiAngel Vasquez, and Dalvon Woods, as they take the next step in their journey by moving on to the SOAR Program at the Transitions Center.
These students have grown, learned, and inspired us through every chapter of their educational journey. We are so proud of each of them and are excited to see what comes next. ❤️ #OurStory #Classof2025
