Let's walk together to promote acceptance and awareness for people with Down Syndrome and individuals with disabilities in our community. The event includes games, food, entertainment, and a special auction, with proceeds supporting local programs like Above the Wake, Camp Fish Tales, and Special Olympics. Wear a costume and enjoy the fun! Registration starts at 11:30 AM, and the walk begins at noon. We hope to see you there!

The Saginaw ISD's CTE Team loves supporting the local school districts to help make these connections possible and provide real opportunities for students' futures. Our STEM Director, Mark Lyons, participated in professional development in the U.P. with REMC Instructional Technology Specialists from across the state. The first stop was Calumet Electronics, which was known for producing circuit boards for NASA and the military. Next, they explored the Quincy Mine, part of the Keweenaw National Historical Park, gaining insight into the region's rich history. Finally, the group visited Michigan Tech, where they spent time at the Great Lakes Research Center and learned about the innovative work at the Geospatial Research Facility. #SaginawISD
