Ann Marie Batkoski is absolutely thrilled to nominate Tina Bacigalupo, our incredible CTE Counseling Consultant/Career Navigator Coach, for an Orange Spot Recognition! Tina has been a beacon of positivity, inspiring all of us to start each day with a vibrant, can-do attitude and reminding us that we truly can make a difference—one student at a time. As Tina prepares to retire at the end of this week and celebrate her birthday on the same day, we can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and bittersweet emotions. Our team will miss her more than words can express, but her legacy of inspiration will continue to light our path. Tina, you’ve shown us all how to live life in full, brilliant color—orange, just like you! Let’s honor Tina by keeping that orange spirit alive and spreading her positivity far and wide. Here’s to you, Tina, and the amazing journey ahead! #OrangeSpot #SaginawISD #OurStory

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost and the heroes who emerged on September 11th, 2001. Patriot Day reminds us of the strength, resilience, and unity that define us as a nation. At Saginaw ISD, we honor the courage of first responders, the compassion of our communities, and the enduring spirit of hope. #PatriotDay #NeverForget

Julie Hartley would like to nominate Special Education Supervisor for Swan Valley Nikki Rethman for an Orange Spot Recognition. We had an Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting to transition one of our Early On students into the Early Childhood Special Education preschool in her district, and as always, she made the family feel welcome, was well prepared to make the transition seamless for them, listened to their specific hopes for their child, and led the meeting while highlighting the team as a whole. This is what collaboration looks like! Thank you, Nikki, for being a great leader and team member! We appreciate all you do to give our smallest students the best start! #Orange
