Our STEM Director, Mark Lyons, participated in professional development in the U.P. with REMC Instructional Technology Specialists from across the state. The first stop was Calumet Electronics, which was known for producing circuit boards for NASA and the military. Next, they explored the Quincy Mine, part of the Keweenaw National Historical Park, gaining insight into the region's rich history. Finally, the group visited Michigan Tech, where they spent time at the Great Lakes Research Center and learned about the innovative work at the Geospatial Research Facility. #SaginawISD
