Teachers and students at the Saginaw Juvenile Detention Center are excited about the beginning of their Garden Project! 🌱
Recently, students learned about seed germination through hands-on observation while beginning the process of sustainable urban gardening by planting and growing vegetables. As the project continues, students will water, monitor, and care for the plants as they grow, eventually harvesting and enjoying the vegetables they helped cultivate themselves.
This real-life, hands-on learning experience is inspiring young minds, encouraging responsibility, and helping students discover that growth can happen wherever they are planted. ☀️
