The Abundant Life Health Team did a nutrition presentation for the parents at the Murphy Farm Head Start Parent Club. We talked about how important good nutrition is for childhood development and to form good health for the future. We also showed how to get plenty of protein from plant foods by providing samples of gluten-free protein oat waffles with strawberry-mango sauce, tofu egg salad, and a protein green smoothie! #SaginawISD

Who’s that Orange Frog? Wendy Zaruba, Program Secretary, is a very busy lady supporting three SISD departments - Career and Technical Education, REMC, and Technology. Yet when asked last year to assist the Orange Frog trainers with preparing personalized documents for ALL workshop participants, she “hoppily” agreed! Tina Bacigalupo would like to nominate Wendy Zaruba for Orange Spot Recognition for going above and beyond in providing outstanding service with a smile to CTE and contributing to the Happiness Advantage at Saginaw ISD. Thanks for ALL you do, Wendy! We appreciate you! #OrangeSpot #SaginawISD #OurStory
