Our second talent tour for Saginaw County Counselors and Career Readiness teams was successful! Thank you to our wonderful hosts of Michigan Sugar, The Bavarian Inn, and Star of the West for opening your doors and providing our staff with a tour and insightful information about career opportunities in the agricultural and hospitality industries. CTE NEWS: Are you a 9th or 10th grader in Saginaw County ready for a hands-on journey into the world of healthcare? We are thrilled to announce our second year of offering our Health Explorers Program in collaboration with Covenant Healthcare, Ascension St. Marys, Mobile Medical Response (MMR), and new this year, Great Lakes Bay Health Centers!
Students will engage in hands-on activities, explore healthcare career fields, talk with healthcare professionals about their opportunities, and have fun and interactive learning experiences.
Students will participate in this program during February and will attend each week on Tuesdays at different partner locations. The cost is $20 and includes snacks and a T-shirt!
