Mark Lyons, Program Director of Instructional Technology & STEM Integration, recently visited the Click Smart class at the SISD Transition Center, giving students the opportunity to learn more about technology and coding. Students enjoyed hands-on learning with circuit boards and wires, using problem-solving skills to complete a maze.

Sensory Friendly Santa 2025 was a huge success! 🎄

Saginaw County families were able to sign up for individual time slots to visit with Santa in a calm, sensory-friendly environment designed to support children with autism and sensory sensitivities. The event created a welcoming, inclusive experience where every child could enjoy the magic of the season at their own comfort level.

During Saginaw ISD Gives Back Day, a team volunteered at the Saginaw City Rescue Mission. The group was impressed by the impactful work taking place and assisted with organizing donations in preparation for holiday gift-giving. The work of the City Rescue Mission is incredibly important, creating lasting change for generations within the local community.
