Just finished a Tri Share evaluation meeting with my partner in crime Rich VanTol of the Bay-Arenac ISD! Grateful for his leadership and support in regards to the Tri Share Pilot!

Such a fun day! Thank you to everyone who has purchased plants and crafts from our SOAR Program as the money earned allowed us to take over 100 students, provide each with a pavilion seat ticket AND provide each with a free lunch at today's Loon game. #saginawisd #sisdstrong

Enjoy this “sneak peek” of artwork that will be showcased at Thursday’s Open House and Art Fair at Millet! Please plan to join us from 5-7 to see all the creative entries our students worked so hard on!

The students in the SOAR Program are enjoying a great day at the ball park. Go Loons!!! #sisdtransitionscenter #saginawisd #playball

Wow! This is #SAGINAWesome: Last night, 375 Saginaw County students received over $915,000 in scholarship awards presented by the Saginaw Community Foundation. #SaginawISD

Congratulations to Tariq Smith for being this year’s Turn Around student from the Transitions Center. His mom is super proud of him and so is Mr. Palmer!

Thank you to our partners at Hey Blue and the Saginaw Sugar Beets for not only celebrating Tariq but also helping him achieve his goals! #sisdstrong #ittakesavillage #SaginAwesome

Students at Millet took advantage of the nice weather today by taking walks around campus and decorating sidewalks in front of the building!

Dr. Collier and Mr. Sawyer took an opportunistic moment to enjoy our beautiful @SaginawISD Transitions Center campus! #SaginawISD

Congratulations to GLBEC Graduate Sy'Ria Lloyd for receiving the Saginaw Intermediate School District's Turnaround Achievement Award. Sy'Ria will attend Wayne State University in the fall majoring in Criminal Justice. #SaginawISD #GLBEC #Early College

An amazing start to the day, celebrating Saginaw County students at our 26th annual Turnaround Achievement Awards ceremony! #SaginawISD

Millet’s Post-Secondary students worked hard to set up the highly anticipated Scholastic Book Fair! Due to COVID and construction, it’s been over two years since this semi-annual event has been held. Scholastic book fairs are a great way to offer low cost books to our students while earning money for our own school library! #ScholasticBookFair

It’s that time of year here in Michigan. What time of year you ask? Take a close look at the photo and see if you can find what animal is hiding! Hint: If you can't find it look between the tree and the fallen tree.

What a terrific turnout for the SVSU Downtown Saginaw Ribbon Cutting today!

Join us at Claytor Head Start, 3200 Perkins on Thursday, June 16th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for fun, games and food! This is a GREAT time to enroll for the 2022/23 program year!

A few well spent minutes exploring an existing community garden, as we continue to design thought concepts for our new Jerome #STEM Preschool. #SaginawISD

Congratulations @SVSU on your new downtown Saginaw location! Today's ribbon cutting ceremony was excellent. #ThisIsSaginaw #SaginawISD

Happy Friday!
Students at the Juvenile Detention Center School watched "The Peanut Butter Falcon" to learn about friendship, redemption and inclusiveness. Here are a few excerpts from their written reflections:
". . .just because you may be different does not mean you are not worthy."
". . .people are loving and caring, it just takes a litle more love or strength from other people to help and teach."
"I'd love to volunteer and help people with disabilities one day. "
"People have strenghts and dreams."
So happy to celebrate the ribbon cutting of @SVSU in downtown Saginaw! #SaginAwesome

Hanging out with a great guy, Dr. Josh Ode at the SVSU Downtown Saginaw Ribbon Cutting!
