Hartley is thankful for its community partner, the READ Association of Saginaw County. They purchased and constructed an outdoor learning space pergola. Next to the pergola, they plan to build a Free Little Library. Thank you to The Iles Family for funding the project! #Hartley

In collaboration with YWCA GLBR's I Support the Girls initiative, SISD's Project Dottie distributed nearly 2,000 feminine hygiene summer supply bags to county students. This could not have happened without support from the Saginaw Community Foundation and the Diaper Alliance!

In 2020, the Millet Learning Center began making facility renovations. Several bathrooms, hallways, and classrooms have been completely transformed and outfitted with new paint, flooring, appliances, technology, etc. During our last school board meeting, board members toured the campus to see the new changes and progress. We are proud of the amazing transformations taking place around Millet for our staff, students, and families! Watch video: https://bit.ly/34GsAOL

As educators our job is to challenge students to think, build confidence, and foster self-determination. The staff received a letter from a student that was recently released from Juvenile. I think her words say it all. #SaginawISD
