To support our plans, Hemlock Semiconductor Community and Regional Empowerment Fund, administered by the Saginaw Community Foundation, awarded us $16,000 and the C.K. Brigette says "Heidi, along with 2 SOAR students, laid about 100 bags of mulch around TC. It made such an impact on the look of the building. Thank you Heidi for making TC such a beautiful place to be."
Sara says "Heidi is an outside of the box thinker! She has come up with some great strategies to break down a barrier of mobility for one of her students and finds ways to engage him at the worksite. Her positivity is motivating to all her students and also to me!".

Hartley is thankful for its community partner, the READ Association of Saginaw County. They purchased and constructed an outdoor learning space pergola. Next to the pergola, they plan to build a Free Little Library. Thank you to The Iles Family for funding the project! #Hartley

In collaboration with YWCA GLBR's I Support the Girls initiative, SISD's Project Dottie distributed nearly 2,000 feminine hygiene summer supply bags to county students. This could not have happened without support from the Saginaw Community Foundation and the Diaper Alliance!
