Julie Hartley would like to nominate Special Education Supervisor for Swan Valley Nikki Rethman for an Orange Spot Recognition. We had an Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting to transition one of our Early On students into the Early Childhood Special Education preschool in her district, and as always, she made the family feel welcome, was well prepared to make the transition seamless for them, listened to their specific hopes for their child, and led the meeting while highlighting the team as a whole. This is what collaboration looks like! Thank you, Nikki, for being a great leader and team member! We appreciate all you do to give our smallest students the best start! #Orange

Kathy Siler, Transitions Center paraprofessional, would like to give Christine Thompson from the Tech Department an orange shout-out for assisting with an email and Skyward issue. Christine was very polite and patient the whole time. Christine took a huge load of anxiety off Kathy's shoulders. #OrangeFrog #OurStory #SaginawISD #GratiTuesday
