The novel is set in Saginaw, Michigan, and explores the rich history of our beautiful city, making it a compelling read. SOAR students in Mrs. Jakes and Mrs. Hawkins classes were inspired by Lonnie Johnson's story in the book titled, Whoosh! They invented toys and games using recycled materials.
