We were so happy to host our group from Nouvel last week! Here are a few photos taken at the outdoor recreation area #HartleyOEC

Mr. Roose led the second group of Carrollton 5th graders into the Robert Gage coal mine museum. The students learned about the coal industry in Saginaw County as well as the challenges the miners faced.

When the STEM director gets to help plan PD with the instructional coaches it's all smiles and exciting ideas. Love the collaboration between departments!

So awesome to have consecutively hosted Dr. Ruby Payne (ahaprocess) and Dr. Horacio Sanchez (ResiliencyInc) to present to our #SaginawISD educators for countywide PD and discuss Frameworks of Emotional Poverty ('21) and Brain science to promote student resiliency ('22).

Mrs. Tabacsko's Culinary Creations class is back at it! Today was one of their biggest orders and the students rocked it!

Team members from the Great Start to Quality Eastern Resource Center take a break to warm up during the Birth - Three Literacy Essentials train the trainer sessions in Traverse City this week! #GreatStartToQuality

Did you know… Millet operates 3 classrooms at Zilwaukee Elementary?! These classrooms aim to increase student interaction (inclusion) with their typically developing peers. Here, a Millet student in Ms. O’Toole’s class won a school wide award for his perfect attendance. His name was announced and he headed down to the office, with his peers, to claim his prize! #MilletMustangs #SaginawISD #inclusionworks

Good morning! #SaginawISD is out at the Saginaw Chamber of Commerce Percolator Breakfast handing out signs and literature for the upcoming Special Education Millage!

Transitions Center SOAR students enjoyed their time at Zauel Library today learning about iPads! We love our partnership with Saginaw Public Libraries ❤️ 📚 💻 #soartonewheights #transitionscenter

The influence of teachers extends beyond the classroom and well into the future, touching every learner and leader. Thank you for everything you do! #WorldTeachersDay #ThankYou

Saginaw Career Complex students are making “Career Connections” with 23 college, military, and financial aid representatives from around Michigan today!

Thank you to Mrs. Kayla Leonard, Dual and Early Middle College Advisor at Delta College, for presenting to the students in cohort 12 at GLBEC about the Michigan Transfer Agreement, Student Engagement, and employment on campus. #SaginawISD #GLBEC #EarlyCollege #ThinkDelta

Thank you, Apptegy - very classy! Well done, well modeled, and well played! 👍🏼🙂 #SaginawISD

The Carrollton 5th graders had a great time in S.T.E.M. class. They designed roller coasters using foam tubes as the track and a marble as the cars.

The Michigan Google Education Summit is organized and run by Michigan educators. Google tools such as Google Drive, Jamboard, Maps, and more! miGoogle is not about devices or products, it’s about inspiring educators & their students to do great things. https://www.miedtech.com/

Big thanks to Jennifer, Meghan, Kristin, Mindy, and Diane, who are working on a 3-day "training the trainer" course in Traverse City. This course focuses on Birth to 3 Essential Literacy Practices! #OurStory

Miss Daviana was caught working hard with her physical therapist today! One of the (many) benefits of having a center-based program is the easy access to speech, physical, and occupational therapy that many of our students require to reach their maximum potential! #SaginawISD #MilletMustangs

Delta Project Sophomore’s working on a collaboration activity to get to know each other in this evenings workshop at the Transitions Center.

Our School to Work Team met with 10th grade students to discuss their career interests, prior work experience and to discuss the various programs available across Saginaw County. Throughout the course of the fall semester, the STW team meets with about 200 students each year in our local high schools. #STW
