Our elves are working on Hemmeter Class A's door to prepare for this holiday season! 🎄

Students at Martin G. Atkins Elementary recently explored career pathways in Mrs. Cain's class with Saginaw County Career Navigator Dennis Barlow. They researched careers of interest, shared findings with classmates, and sparked discussions about various professions. Next semester, the students will dress as their chosen career and present to a panel of judges, gaining real-world insights and public speaking confidence. Mr. Barlow emphasized introducing careers early, saying, “Many students don’t know what they want to do, and it’s important to show them options beyond the familiar roles they might already know. This initiative broadens students' understanding of diverse career opportunities.
