The Saginaw County CTE Team would like to give a big shoutout to our incredible Industrial Tech teachers from Saginaw County schools! Yesterday, we had an inspiring and productive meeting with these dedicated educators who have been part of the SME PRIME (Partnership Response in Manufacturing Education) initiative for over six years! Led by our very own CTE Director, Kevin Summey, and Business Partnership Consultant, Ann Marie Batkoski, the team drilled down on best practices, student credentialing, and scholarships offered by SME and new updates from Edge Factor Together. The teachers shared successes, challenges, and innovative ideas for shaping the future of manufacturing education in our region. Thank you to our presenters and the following school districts for all of your dedication and time! Jon Grady - Birch Run High School, Ciaran Byrne & Andy Keson - Freeland High School, Heath Marietta- Hemlock High School, Kevin Bidwell - Heritage High School, Josh Beougher - Merrill High School, Patrick Kennelly & Nate Wachowicz - Swan Valley High School, Garret Wenglikowski & Jared Andres - Saginaw Career Complex #OurStory #OurCTEStory #IndustrialTechTeachers #ManufacturingCareers #SaginawISD

Speech Pathologist Julie Hartley nominated Nikki for showing so much care during an Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting to transition one of our Early On students into the Early Childhood Special Education preschool. As always, she made the family feel welcome, listened to their specific hopes for their child, and led the meeting while highlighting the team.
