This positive ORANGE message came into our preschool comment box this week, and it is a perfect reminder of the great things our leadership team does for our teachers and staff on a daily basis!" Thank you, Ashley Reed, for sharing such a positive message about your supervisor!

"I am coming up on my 5-year anniversary, and in the 5 years, I have had a different supervisor for every year I’ve been there. I want to say that Frankie Lopez is by far the best supervisor I’ve worked under. I recently had the chance to work with her in the classroom and met Teacher Frankie. I respect her input and help. She pushes me to do better, she’s involved, kind, patient, and not afraid to give constructive criticism. I wanted to say I’m happy to work under her in the workplace."

Last week, as part of Transitions Center’s volunteer projects, students assembled bathroom kits, take-home hygiene kits, and 150 toothbrushes with mini toothpastes for students to take home. 🪥✨

This effort was made possible through generous donations from our students, families, community members, and staff — and we are incredibly grateful for the continued support!

If you would like to contribute, donations can be dropped off at TC during school hours, or you can email ahawkins1@sisd.cc to arrange a pickup. 💙

Brucker Early Head Start students celebrated Black History Month through creativity and hands-on learning! 🎨✨

Their most recent art project highlighted Garrett Morgan (1877–1963), an African American inventor from Cleveland, who created the first three-position traffic signal in 1923. 🚦

His innovation and problem-solving continue to impact our lives every single day — and our students did an amazing job honoring his legacy through art!

That’s right! Staff participated in an underground Spirit Week, and we know some of you caught on!! From mismatched fits to comfy-cozy vibes, it was a fun week all around. We loved seeing who was paying attention! 😄
